Services — E. Deal Nepal

Services

Six ways we get involved.

Every engagement starts with a paid discovery week, so the estimate that follows is based on your actual codebase and constraints rather than a guess. Replace this list with your own services — the structure holds.

01 — Product engineering

Web platforms built to be changed later

Typed, tested applications with a real architecture behind them. We work in your repository, on your board, with commit history you can read.

  • Discovery, technical scoping and architecture decision records
  • React, Next.js, TypeScript on the front; Node, Go, Laravel or Django behind
  • PostgreSQL schema design, migrations and query performance work
  • Automated test suites and pull-request review discipline

02 — Cloud & platform

Infrastructure that a new hire can understand

We replace hand-configured servers with code, add the monitoring you were missing, and cut the bill where it is obviously wasteful.

  • Terraform-managed environments on AWS, Azure or GCP
  • CI/CD pipelines with staged rollout and rollback
  • Logging, metrics, alerting and on-call runbooks
  • Cost review and right-sizing, documented in plain language

03 — Mobile applications

One codebase, both stores, offline-aware

Field apps that keep working on patchy connections and sync when the signal returns — the normal case outside city centres.

  • Flutter or React Native, with native modules where they earn their place
  • Offline-first data layer and conflict resolution
  • Store submission, staged release and crash reporting
  • Device testing on the handsets your users actually carry

04 — Data & automation

Reporting your finance team stops arguing with

One pipeline, one definition per metric, and internal tools that remove the manual re-entry steps between systems.

  • ETL pipelines and warehouse modelling
  • Dashboards with documented metric definitions
  • Back-office tools replacing spreadsheet workflows
  • System-to-system integrations and scheduled jobs

05 — Product design

Interfaces designed against real constraints

Design sits inside the engineering team, so what gets drawn is what can be built in the time available.

  • User interviews and task-flow mapping
  • Wireframes, prototypes and usability sessions
  • Component libraries and accessibility review (WCAG AA targets)
  • Design-to-code handover in the same repository

06 — Support & maintenance

Someone who answers after launch

Monthly retainers covering dependency updates, incident response and a steady trickle of small improvements.

  • Agreed response windows during your business hours
  • Security patching and dependency upgrades
  • Quarterly health review with a written recommendation list
  • Knowledge transfer sessions for your in-house team

Common questions

What does a project typically cost?

It depends on scope, but most first engagements land between a discovery week and a three-month build. We give a fixed quote after discovery and hold it. Replace this paragraph with your own commercial ranges.

Can you work with our existing codebase?

Yes — roughly half our work is inherited code. Discovery includes a written assessment of what is safe to build on and what should be replaced first.

Who owns the code and infrastructure?

You do, from the first commit. Repositories and cloud accounts live in your organisation, and we work inside them as collaborators.

How do you handle timezones?

Nepal runs on UTC+5:45. We overlap the European morning and the Australian afternoon naturally, and hold a fixed evening window for North American teams.

Do you sign NDAs and DPAs?

Yes. Send yours, or use our standard mutual NDA. Data-processing terms are agreed before any production access is granted.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the problem and we will tell you which service fits — or that none of them do.
